Our Spray Tanning solutions are 100% Natural and Organic! Formulated with silk amino acids and aloe vera, they're sure to transform you into a silky-smooth, bronze Goddess (or God)!! We're confident you'll get that perfect golden glow and not an orange, sticky mess!
It is best to exfoliate with a loofah or salt or sugar scrub the day before your waxing appointment. This removes any excess skin from the area and will help release any hair that is trapped under it.
You should not tan in a tanning bed or work out for 24 hours after your waxing appointment. Any excess sweating in the freshly waxed area could result in unwanted break outs.
You should exfoliate the area being waxed, with a loofah a minimum of 2-3 times a week, and up to every day. This will prevent ingrown hairs by removing skin cell build up which blocks the hair follicle.
Waxing is a process that will give you beautiful long term results. Every time you get waxed you are damaging the hair follicle which weakens it and forces the follicle to produce a thinner finer hair. Over time your hair will stop growing in most areas permanently.
Consider never giving your teenage daughter a razor! If you start waxing at a young age, you will be virtually hair free by your early 20's. Don't we all wish our mothers had thought of that?
Q. Will it hurt?
A. Yes, waxing can be uncomfortable. Having a true professional preform the service can reduce the discomfort considerably. You will not be in pain when you leave Haute Wax!
Q. Will it make my hair come in darker or thicker?
A. No, waxing will actually have the opposite effect and make your hair come thinner, finer and lighter.
Q. How often should I get waxed?
A. Every 3-4 weeks in the summer 4-5 in winter.
Q. How long will my wax last?
A. In 3-4 weeks your hair will only be 1/4 inch long, and only half the number of hairs will even come back. You will stay very smooth for about 2 weeks.
Q. How long does my hair need to be?
A. Hair should be 1/4 inch long. About 7-10 days worth of growth.
Q. I'm recovering from a bad brow wax, how long do I need to wait before coming in?
A. The longer the better. A minimum of two weeks is recommended.
Q. Can you get a brazilian while you are pregnant?
A. Yes, as long as you are not high risk, waxing is safe during all stages of pregnancy.

Exfoliate your skin the night before or the morning of your spray tan. St. Ives apricot scrub works wonders! (Body only!)
Take a shower that morning, but DO NOT use any type of lotion or deodorant. Either of these products will create a barrier between your skin and the tanning solution.
Bring loose fitted clothing to change into after your appointment. such as sweat pants, yoga pants, tee shirts or sundresses.
DO NOT WEAR JEANS
You may be tanned any way you choose: Nude, in swim wear, or in your favorite undergarments.
We DO NOT provide disposable underguarments. If you feel that you need them, please bring them!
Do not shower for at least 6 hours after application is complete. It Is best to sleep in the solution overnight.
The morning after your tan, shower without scrubbing your skin, and apply moisturizer. Keeping skin moistruized will extend the life of your tan!
With proper care your tan can last up to 10 days!
